Ramadan Opening Iftar

This event will be Fincon’s opening event for the Spring 2026 semester. Since it takes place during the holy month of Ramadan, it will be hosted as an iftar. The primary goal is to bring all Fincon members together, break the ice, and create a comfortable environment that supports stronger collaboration throughout the semester. The intended atmosphere is simple, cozy, and friendly.
Members will arrive and settle in before iftar, with time allocated for welcoming remarks and introductions. The Executive Team and High Board will introduce themselves, share Fincon’s vision for the semester, and welcome all attendees. Iftar will take place at approximately 6:00 PM, after which the event will shift into open social interaction and games. To make the gathering more engaging, Fincon will host group activities (icebreakers and Kahoot) and board games (including finance-related games) to encourage bonding and conversation in a relaxed setting.
Note: Fincon would like to request board games from Residence Life (Reslife) for the post-iftar social activities.
