Flore Vallet, PhD is a leading expert in sustainable design and the circular economy. Her research is focused on developing methods for sustainable design and circular economy in industrial contexts, with particular interests in eco-design, eco-innovation, engineering design, human-centered design, and transition design. Since 2025, she has been an Associate Professor at the Université de Technologie de Compiègne (UTC), where she leads the RE USE Chair, a research initiative dedicated to her work. She earned her PhD in Eco-Design and Mechanical Engineering from UTC in 2012. Her extensive academic career includes serving as an Assistant Professor at the De Vinci Higher Education Engineering School from 2023 to 2025, where she developed a curriculum for eco-design and sustainability. In 2022-23, she held the Anthropolis Chair, focusing on sustainable urban mobility. She also served as a researcher at the Institut de Recherche Technologique SystemX and an associate researcher at the Laboratoire Genie Industriel at CentraleSupélec. Dr. Vallet is a member of the Design Society and the French network EcoSD (Eco-design of Sustainable Systems).

Ghada Bouillass, PhD is a leading expert in sustainability analysis, the circular economy, and territorial planning. Her research is dedicated to measuring and monitoring the ecological transition of territories, with a focus on climate, mobility, and circular economy planning. She is particularly interested in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), a methodology she applies to areas like sustainable mobility design, and she also researches Absolute Environmental Sustainability Assessment (AESA), considering planetary boundaries. Since 2022, she has been an Assistant Professor in the Industrial Engineering Laboratory (LGI) at CentraleSupélec, where she also coordinates the CircularIT Alliance, a research chair between CentraleSupélec and IRT SystemX. Dr. Bouillass earned her PhD in Energy and Process Engineering from Mines ParisTech in 2021. Her doctoral research focused on the sustainability analysis of electric mobility scenarios. She is an active member of both French and international standardization committees. She serves as an expert member of the AFNOR "Environmental and Climate Change" committee and contributes to the International Standardization Organization (ISO) Working Groups on Social Life Cycle Assessment (ISO 14075). She also acts as a reviewer for ISO 14059 on Circular Economy.
