Music in a Visual Dialogue Exhibition - Curated by Mahmoud Hamdi

Group Exhibition in parallel with the Cairo Jazz Festival 2025 at AUC Tahrir Square.

Music is not an echo but the heartbeat of the image. Sound of vision intertwines: color reaching for rhythm, form searching for melody. From ancient tombs where we found painted musicians seemed to play through stone to today's artists who compose with brush, sound and gesture. Egypt's art has always sung.

The exhibition carries that timeless song into the present, where contemporary voices create a living harmony between what is seen and what is heard. The exhibition is a group exhibition for seven emerging and established artists whose art projects are related to music. The exhibition will also pay tribute to the late Master of Music Ziad Rahbani across the AUC Legacy Gallery and the AUC Future Gallery.
