Discover how artificial intelligence is reshaping the future of assessment with Professor Phillip Dawson from the Centre for Research in Assessment and Digital Learning (CRADLE) at Deakin University, Melbourne. As AI becomes capable of producing work that meets high-stakes academic standards, questions arise about integrity, authenticity, and the sustainability of current assessment practices.
Drawing on his leadership in Assessment Reform for a Time of Artificial Intelligence—a national project funded by Australia’s higher education regulator—Dawson explores how educators can reimagine assessment to both uphold integrity and prepare students for an AI-driven world.
