Abdallah Sallam, a member of one of Egypt’s most prominent business families, is a seasoned serial entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience across manufacturing, retail, media, technology, and real estate. He founded and led Minka Real Estate Investment, known for its innovative ventures in construction, consultancy, and renewable energy, before it was acquired by Madinet Masr in 2021, where he now serves as President and CEO. Sallam holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from AUC and has pursued executive education at Harvard and Kellogg. He actively supports young entrepreneurs, serves on several prestigious boards, and was a jury member on Shark Tank Egypt.

Mr. Ahmed Hegab
Head of The E-Commerce Tax Unit at the Egyptian Tax Authority
Mr. Ahmed Hegab is a Tax Expert with over 20 years of experience.
He currently leads the E-Commerce Tax Unit at the Egyptian Tax Authority, overseeing the entire e-commerce portfolio, as the unit’s director, he plays a strategic and authoritative role in driving the simplification of tax procedures and ensuring Tax Compliance across the sector, under his leadership, the unit has advanced key initiatives to modernize Tax Administration, enhance Transparency, and foster a Business-Friendly Environment that supports sustainable growth in Egypt’s Digital Economy.
In his role, Mr. Hegab has been instrumental in shaping and implementing Tax Policies that support E-Commerce Practitioners, Digital Content Creators, Women Entrepreneurs, Start-ups, and Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs).
He is also a key pillar in the successful implementation of the New Tax Facilitation Initiative for Women Entrepreneurs in Egypt.
He is committed to simplifying Compliance Procedures, encouraging Voluntary Registration, and integrating Informal Digital Businesses into the Formal Economy—promoting Fairness, Innovation, and inclusive Economic Growth.
At the upcoming event, Mr. Hegab will speak about how Women Entrepreneurs can benefit from the New Tax Facilitation Initiative.
This Initiative provides Several Key Advantages, including Simplified Tax Procedures, reduced Financial Burdens, encouragement of Formal Registration, support for Business Growth, and enhanced Financial Inclusion, all designed to empower and support Women-Led Businesses in Egypt.

Noha Abdel Hamid
President: Women Entrepreneurs Network (WEN)
Noha Abdel Hamid is a Partnerships and Development executive with over thirty years of experience, she holds a master’s degree in public policy from the American University in Cairo. Noha is the President of the Women Entrepreneurs Network, and the Women Economic Empowerment expert.
Previously she held the position of Private Sector Engagement and Gender Equity Advisor at the Education Development Center, in the USAID’s Teacher Excellence Initiative.
Prior to that Noha held the positions of Program Manager of Forsa at Egypt Network for Integrated Development (ENID) and the Regional Representative of CTEK Women in the MENA, which teaches unemployed women digital coding and entrepreneurship skills then connects them with customers, incubators, or job opportunities. With ENID, Noha was managing a program that provides over 3600 underserved women with sustainable job employment in the Ready-Made Garments sector in Fayoum.
Noha worked with several INGOs including CARE International and Plan International, and led several initiatives such as a presentation at the UN Human Rights Commission in Geneva, on the Status of the CEDAW agreement in the Arab World, between ratification and implementation.
In her role as partnership executives Noha closed partnerships with multiple multinational companies such as Mondelez, Danone, HSBC, Cargill, Microsoft, Suez Cement and others.

Rania brings over 27 years of diverse experience spanning corporate (P&G), entrepreneurship, education, and ultimately training and coaching. She co-founded "Wesal," a development-focused entity supporting individuals and institutions through various coaching modalities. With more than 600 hours of coaching and 1,000+ hours using the Enneagram, she has led group sessions—particularly in the banking sector—and co-created an Enneagram program for schools. She is currently the head of the International Enneagram Egypt Association. Passionate about personal growth and raising awareness, Rania integrates her extensive training into her work. She holds a Business Administration degree from AUC and a master’s in Financial Management from Exeter University, UK. With over a decade of experience and a Master's in International Public Health from Tsinghua University, she has led national nutrition programs, advised multilateral organizations, and spoken at the United Nations advocating for disability-inclusive health systems.
As Founder of IN-Lab, Aliaa develops frameworks for inclusive impact measurement and sustainable systems change. She specializes in translating evidence into actionable policy and building cross-sectoral partnerships that prioritize dignity and inclusion.
