Founder and CEO of Al Hezb El Comedy, Egypt’s 1st and Official Platform for Stand Up Comedy, Hashem El Garhy is a self-proclaimed “comediapreneur”, half comedian, half entrepreneur with a business administration and marketing background. Hashem has

been performing stand up comedy for the past 16 years so you know he must be awesome! Throughout that time, he has been blessed to perform in Cairo, Alexandria, London, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the Montreux International Comedy Festival in Switzerland and in Dubai for the taping of Comedy Central Arabia’s “Comedy 3al Wagef”.

He went back to UAE in January 2020 with Al Hezb El Comedy for the Sharjah Fringe Festival and produced the highly acclaimed tour “Sharjah belmasry” which was one of the best-selling shows there, while also selling out two shows in Dubai and then again in September 2021 and January 2022 at Mall of the Emirates theatre. In 2023, partnered up with the Dubai Comedy Festival and co-produced the “Stand Up Bel Masry” tour with Mohamed Salem to amazing reviews. In 2024, he returned to Dubai Comedy Festival with 2 more shows that left audiences wanting more.

He consults companies and coaches entrepreneurs and startups and works with them on developing their strategies to reach their target customers effectively. He teaches stand up comedy and founded Al Hezb El Comedy Academy to help people wanting to start their stand up comedy journey. He also founded the boutique agency Entertopia for Entertainment, a total solutions entertainment company spearheaded by Al Hezb El Comedy. He's so awesome that he wrote this in third person.
