Tahrir Cultural Center revives AUC Thursday Night Movies with conversations, Screening of the first ever films shown at Ewart Memorial Hall and much more…
AUC Tahrir Cultural Center is working with Ahmed El Baz (‘99), who for 5 semesters was running the Thursday Night Movies activity within the Student Union, on an experiential evening that will feature:
• A conversation on the Ewart Hall stage featuring alumni and others who were involved in AUC’s legendary Thursday Night Movies.
• Screenings of Five Easy Pieces – the first ever film shown at Ewart Hall as part of AUC Movie Nights -- as well as Broken Arrow, the screening of which helps explain how old-fashioned cinemas reels work.
• The event is being held as part of the ongoing development of the Movie Nights exhibit which is currently situated in an attractive display outside Ewart Memorial Hall. Further additions to the exhibit will be included on this special night.
Event program:
1- Five Easy Pieces screening, 6pm
2- Discussion with Ahmed El Baz and Beshir Shousha, 8pm
3- Broken Arrow screening, 9pm

The event will start at 6:00 pm
Free and open to the public
