Details
An outdoor, site specific, socially distanced play about sexual harassment in Egypt.
Msh Zanbek is an original play, written by young Egyptian women and men which explores the issue of sexual harassment in the region from multiple perspectives: families and couples, bystanders, victims and perpetrators, men and women, power and incapacity. The work offers five scenes, each dealing with a different aspect of this issue.
The play will be performed outdoors at both campuses. Small audience groups of approximately 15 people will watch each play (masked) and then follow a student guide to the next outdoor location to watch the next play. In this way audience members walk from play to play watching the stories unfold.
