Details

As part of AUC’s ongoing reaffirmation of accreditation with the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE), the University has engaged in a comprehensive self-study examining how well AUC fulfills its mission and meets MSCHE’s standards for quality and effectiveness. This collaborative effort has involved broad participation from constituents across the University and offered an opportunity to reflect on AUC’s strengths, challenges and priorities for the future.

A key milestone in the process is the upcoming virtual visit by the Chair of the MSCHE Evaluation Team, Ben Rifkin, who will meet with various AUC constituents from November 1-5. These meetings will help the Chair learn more about the University and the self-study process as AUC prepares for the full evaluation team visit. Details about the virtual visit will be shared with the community by next week.

To keep the community informed and engaged, the AUC Accreditation team invites everyone to attend an open forum on the self-study findings and next steps in the reaffirmation process. During the forum, members of the Steering Committee will share key findings and themes from the self-study, discuss opportunities for continued institutional improvement and answer questions. Attendees are also welcome to share feedback and ideas as AUC moves forward.

All members of the AUC community are encouraged to join this important conversation and learn more about the outcomes of the self-study and the University’s ongoing commitment to continuous improvement and institutional excellence.

**Open to the AUC community only.
