Ultra Relay Run 2026

Bringing back a classic and taking it to the next level!

Inspired by the legendary 24-hour relay runs held at Cairo American College during the 1980s and 1990s, the Ultra Relay Run 2026 brings the spirit of endurance, teamwork, and community back to the running track at The American University in Cairo.

Held in support of Magdi Yacoub Heart Foundation and its new Global Heart Centre, participants can choose between two challenges designed to put teamwork and endurance to the test:

2-Hour Relay Run | The classic—fast, energetic, and all about teamwork.

24-Hour Ultra Relay Run | Take on the ultimate endurance challenge, keeping the track moving continuously from 6 pm Friday to 6 pm Saturday.

Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor Football and Track Stadium, AUC New Cairo.

Whether you are looking for a fun team challenge or ready to push your limits through the night, the Ultra Relay Run is an opportunity to run together, challenge yourself, and make every lap count for a cause.

Spots are limited. Sign up and be part of the revival of this legendary relay tradition!
