Join Deborah Perez, University of Miami, for a talk that examines how community-engaged research and interventions can expand opportunity for marginalized populations by addressing inequities in education, housing and related social systems.

Drawing on more than 10 years of work, it presents case examples from college access, housing initiatives and cross-systems interventions that have supported pathways for youth and communities to thrive. The presentation highlights how integrating individual-level supports with organizational and structural change can produce more equitable, inclusive and sustainable outcomes.

Attendees will gain insight into multi-level, participatory approaches that empower individuals and communities while transforming the institutions and systems that shape opportunity.
