Campus Safety and Inclusion for People with Disabilities: First Dialog Series

The Office of Institutional Equity is delighted to invite you to the launch of its new quarterly online dialogue series, Rethinking Safety and Inclusion on Campus. This series builds on the annual conference Safe and Inclusive Campuses in the Arab Region and seeks to sustain and deepen engagement with safety and inclusion among policymakers, educators, professionals and students across the Arab region.

The first session, “Campus Safety and Inclusion for People with Disabilities,” will take place on April 14 from 12 to 2 pm (Cairo time) via Zoom. It brings together a diverse group of stakeholders to share perspectives on building safer and more inclusive university working and learning environments. The session highlights the importance of including disability perspectives in campus initiatives on safety and inclusion and opens a dialogue on how University communities can address challenges and foster meaningful change. As such, it aims to broaden awareness and strengthen collective efforts toward inclusion and belonging across higher education.
