Join Candace Lukasik, assistant professor at Mississippi State University, for a compelling talk on how imperial intervention, war and migration shape religious life among Coptic Orthodox and Assyrian Christian communities. Drawing on ethnographic research across the Middle East and the United States, Lukasik reveals how borders, racialization and securitization reshape belonging, solidarities and everyday life across transnational spaces.
