Join us for a powerful and honest panel discussion where members of our own AUC community share their personal journeys with mental health struggles. In this safe and supportive space, we'll talk about the struggles, the moments of doubt and the steps that led to healing. This isn't just about awareness; it's about hope. Hear firsthand from those who have navigated the storm and found their way to solid ground and learn how to support yourself and those you care about.

Panelists:
  • Michael  El Nemais, associate director, Mental Health Counseling and Supervising Psychiatrist
  • MariahJ. Fairley (MA ’10), senior instructor II, Department of English Language Instruction
  • Firas Al-Atraqchi ’94, ’97, professor of practice and Caravan faculty advisor, Department of Journalism and Mass Communication
  • Caroline Mitry ’04, ’17, senior manager, Strategic Projects Educational Development and Assessment
