We are thrilled to invite you to our groundbreaking symposium, "Breaking Silos for the Future of Sustainability in Higher Education Institutions". This event will be a pivotal exploration of integrating sustainability into higher education through innovative curricula and learning spaces. It will highlight our ongoing research project, "The 2050 Education for Sustainable Development Campus: Envisioning the Futures of Learning Spaces and Curricula for AUC and Egypt," led by Sherif Goubran and Heba El-Deghaidy, with contributions from Hoda Mostafa and Khaled Tarabieh.
The symposium will include two insightful keynote speeches by Professor Walter Leal, Chair of Climate Change Management at Hamburg University of Applied Sciences and Environment and Technology at Manchester Metropolitan University, focusing on sustainable development and climate change, and Kay Hack, Lead Consultant Education for Advance-HE, specializing in supporting teaching excellence and strategic leadership in higher education.
You will also get the opportunity to engage in interactive sessions such as review panels and roundtable discussions with ESD leaders, curriculum designers, and technology integration experts as well as networking opportunities connecting with top experts and forward-thinkers in the field.
