Whether in Egypt or elsewhere, caricature serves as a mirror to society. It critiques authority, reflects public opinion and often becomes a form of resistance. Despite the restrictions, it continues to be a powerful expression, highlighting issues that may otherwise be silenced.

Cultural Representation: Caricaturists in Egypt often focus on everyday life in Cairo, representing both the challenges and vibrancy of the city. Themes like overcrowded streets, economic struggles and the resilience of the Egyptian people provide fertile ground for satire.
