The World Urban Campaign Assembly convenes urban development stakeholders, including policymakers, academics, urban professionals and civil society organizations. Held annually in conjunction with major milestones, this year it takes place in parallel to the biennial World Urban Forum (WUF12) at the American University in Cairo (AUC).

The primary objective of the WUC Assembly 2024 is to highlight the results of the coalition's activities over the past year, particularly the outcomes of the #HousingMatters thematic campaign and the Egypt Urban Campaign leading up to WUF12. The day will culminate with a public lecture by Professor Carlos Moreno, renowned for his groundbreaking work on the 15-minute city concept.
