The exhibition, titled "Through the Smog," explores the transformative changes in Cairo’s urban landscape through the perspectives of 10 Egyptian artists. It highlights the complex relationship between the city’s rapid modernization and the everyday experiences of its residents.

The talk is part of an ongoing exhibition, curated by AUC alumn Ebrahim Bahaa-Eldin, photographer and anthropologist, as part of the project "Citizens’ Experiences of Egypt’s Urban Development Policies," hosted by the Public Policy and Administration Department (PPAD) at AUC and funded by the MENASP network. The exhibition will be available until October 15, 2024.
