May Wahsh
May is a Certified Holistic Health Coach and Nutritionist from the Institute of Integrative
Nutrition (IIN), and from the American Fitness Professional & Associates (AFPA).
She Completed Level 1 Aromatherapy Foundation course (60hrs), certified from the
Aromatherapy Institute in Egypt.
She’s the founder of Boost it by May wahsh and Cofounder of Lavish healthy treats.
She graduated from the American University in Cairo (AUC) 2004, majoring in Business
administration and Journalism and mass communication (IMC). She then obtained her
Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the German University in Cairo (GUC),
majoring in marketing, entrepreneurship and strategic management.
She has tapped into the world of health and wellness in 2014.
After She experienced a huge difference in her health, mood, sleep and life in general, she
found herself helping and supporting her friends and family towards better lifestyle habits
and most importantly understanding their bodies.
She decided to take it further and seeked a solid credible education about health and
holistic nutrition.
She’s focusing on helping her clients to listen to their bodies as we are not all the same and
one rule can’t fit all. Understanding their bodies, listening to their bodies will be the first
step towards wellness.
By wellness, it means emotional, social, physical, spiritual, mental and environmental
wellness.
She experienced it herself and she studied how to dig for the root cause which will give long
term results for any drop in the wellness cycle.
Her goal is to support you step by step to understand your body and work on BOOSTING
your health by changing your eating habits and lifestyle to live a better healthy life.
She will walk you through the CHANGE JOURNEY where you’ll achieve your desired goals.

May has a professional and managerial experience that extends for more than 20 years in the field of educational leadership management, organizational and human development, and positive psychology fields at the American University in Cairo and other national and international institutions. She is the founder of the Life Mentorship Program, the first formal students’ mentoring platform in the American University in Cairo and she is currently the Senior Director of the Co-Curricular Programs at the Office of the Dean of Students at the AUC.
May holds a Master Degree in Public Policy and Administration from the School of Public Policy & Global Affairs (AUC), June 2012 and a Post Graduate Professional Diploma in Human Resources Management, School of Business’s Executive Education in Jan. 2015.
She is an expert in the science of happiness and wellbeing consultant from the Happiness Studies Academy (HSA), accredited by the (ICF) and the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC). May is also a certified (RYT-200) Therapeutic and Vinyasa Yoga Instructor, integrating yoga, meditation, breath-work and mindfulness into her coaching and happiness workshops.
May is a lead coach and business consultant for senior executives in multiple national and international industries, a Senior Trainer and Human Development Coach at Dale Carnegie & Associates, Inc. and a Master Trainer at the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt and Senior Instructor at the AUC School of Business’s Executive Education.
Tara El Kady
Dr. Al-Kadi earned her PhD in media and communication studies from Roehampton University in London in 2017. Dr. Al-Kadi has entered the field of coaching and mentoring in 2019 obtaining a certification as a life coach and career coach to help students make informed university specialization and career decisions. She has accumulated over 220hrs of coaching since. She commonly conducts training or personal and career development, as well as effective communication. In 2023 she had a coaching television show to promote relevant coaching and interpersonal communication concepts. In 2024, in order to add academic depth to her coaching career, Dr. Al-Kadi began a second master of arts degree, joining the Harvard university psychology program. She is currently developing a media psychology course for the American University in Cairo. Dr. Al-Kadi has been teaching mass communication to undergraduates and masers students at the American University in Cairo (AUC), since 2010.
