The Christmas Book Fair is back to town!
AUC Bookstores in collabrion with AUC Tahrir Cultural Center are hosting Christmas Book Fair between 30 November to 9 December 2023, 10am–6pm, at AUC Tahrir Bookstore and Gardens.

- Storytelling for Kids, in English: Saturday 2 December, 2–3 pm
Enchanting storytelling for kids with Hanan El Taher '00, at the Children's book section inside AUC Tahrir Bookstore. Hanan was born in 1975, she graduated from the American University in Cairo and held several positions in major international companies before shifting her career toward her passion, storytelling. Hanan's story began with the bedtime stories that her father used to tell her when she was a litter girl. Her father would sit next to her on the bed and tell her the stories of the clever rabbit and the cunning fox and of 3 am Marzouq and El Soltania, and many other stories that she remembers to this day, and that was the nucleus that sparked Hanan’s love of storytelling, stories and reading in general.

An Interactive Performance, A puppet show of the Famous Aragouz from the Egyptian Folklore will be followed by an interactive workshop with the audience on how to manipulate various kinds of puppets
