The UNESCO Cairo, in collaboration with AUC, will host a set of panel discussions with the topic: inclusive and violence-free future for women in the Arab region. The event is leveraging the global and Arab 16 Days of Activism against Gender-based Violence. The objective of this workshop is to promote the inclusion of women and girls and end gender-based violence in higher education institutions. The event will launch 2 of UNESCO Cairo's recent publications, "Toolkit for Inclusion of Women and Girls and Ensuring Their Rights" and "Mapping gender studies and Research in Egypt."

The event will start with a performance by AUC's own Msh Zanbek theater performance, which touches upon the topics that will be highlighted throughout the day. The event will also be livestreamed.
