We are honored to host Víctor Legorreta, Mexican architect and Partner, Managing and Design Director at LEGORRETA®. LEGORRETA® were architects of the AUC New Cairo Campus Center and Student Residences. They are also coming back to design one of the new additions in AUC Campus 2026.

In the midst of tumultuous times, as the Palestine/Gaza crisis unfolds, the "Ten Days of Architectural Fortitude" emerges as a somber yet compelling event. This 10-day architectural journey takes place against the backdrop of a world in crisis. While turmoil and uncertainty envelop our daily lives, this initiative stands as a beacon of hope, knowledge, and reflection. It is comprised of a series of internal and public events & talks, organised & hosted by the Department of Architecture at AUC in collaboration with its Alumni Association (AAA), the student-led association (AA) and NextARCH Lab.
