Remembering Librarian and Instructor Benjamin Carter (1979-2023)

Join us in remembering and honoring the life of Librarian and Instructor Benjamin Wildish Carter (1979-2023). Ben joined the AUC Libraries in 2013, where he taught LALT1020 to many students. He also taught philosophy courses for the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. Ben was a passionate advocate for AUC students, the humanities, and the liberal arts. This memorial is being held over assembly hour specifically to encourage students who knew and remember Ben to attend.  

For those unable to attend, the AUC Libraries has a memorial book on the Plaza Level of the library that students can sign and share their memories of Ben. Off-campus participants can join the memorial via Zoom: https://aucegypt.zoom.us/j/97453116209
