Ever wondered about the place of religion in our lives, about how science and technology are expanding our powers? At the same time, it seems, changing who we are, or about the vital relationship between self and others? Fascinated by the big questions - about language, truth, reality and the possibility of certain knowledge - and by how different thinkers (Ancient, Modern and Contemporary, and across the Mediterranean) have addressed them? If so, then philosophy is for you.

Why not come and hear about the courses the Department of Philosophy has to offer in fall 2023? In this informal gathering, the courses offered will be introduced by the professors who will be teaching them. You'll learn about the content and approach of each course and how it may fit your own questions and interests.

All are welcome!

Free Pizza and light refreshments will be available.
