This session of the Gerhart Center Webinar Series will feature Sonja Haut, author of The Case for Impact. As head of Impact Valuation at Novartis, she has worked on impact valuation since 2015 and leads the Novartis Value Balancing Alliance (VBA) engagement. Haut is also a First Movers Fellow of the Aspen Institute, USA.

About the Speaker:
Sonja is the author of The Case for Impact, published in 2022. As head of Impact Valuation at Novartis, she has worked on impact valuation since 2015 and leads the Novartis Value Balancing Alliance (VBA) engagement. She is a member of the Capitals Coalition Advisory Panel and Value Commission; the WEF Global Future Council "Future of Growth" (starting 2023), "Economic Growth and Recovery" (2020-2022) and "New Economic Agenda" (2019-2020); co-chair of the Valuation Technical and Practitioner Committee of the International Foundation for Valuing Impacts; and is part of the ISSB Technical Reference Group. Sonja earned an MBA from IMD Business School in Lausanne, Switzerland and holds degrees in Physics and Mathematics from the University of Freiburg, Germany. She is a First Movers Fellow of the Aspen Institute, USA.
