PodFest Cairo 2023 will be a space for audio creators and podcast listeners to gather for a day of knowledge sharing. Kim Fox, PodFest Cairo’s founder and organizer, says, “it’s important for like minded creatives to come together to support one another.”

The keynote speaker is Ramsey G. Tesdell, CEO of SOWT Media.

All sessions will be held in English and Arabic, with simultaneous translation provided.

Ramsey is well-known in journalism and media in the MENA region. He is on the advisory board for the PRX / Google Podcast Creators program. He is also the founder of 7iber.com and worked extensively in the Arab world with youth, media and journalism outlets. In the past, Ramsey has secured and managed many large, multi-year projects including from EED, SIDA, CFI, OSF and IMS.
