Arab Music Ensemble

The Arab Music Ensemble is a 1-credit course (MUSC 2620) open to AUC students interested in performing traditional Arab Takht repertoire. This performance is in completion of the course requirements. This ensemble will also feature students enrolled in Arab Music Theory I (MUSC 2450) and Maqam I (MUSC 2451). 

This ensemble is co-directed by Wael ElMahallawy and Alaa Abdelsalam.

Free, open to the public and livestreaming
Proof of vaccination is required on entry.
