Join this session of the Economics Talks Series featuring Abla Abdel Latif, executive director and director of research at the Egyptian Center for Economics Studies (ECES). The Economics Talks Series is organized by the Department of Economics at the AUC School of Business. The session will be held at SSE CP16 – School of Science and Engineering Building.

While much information is known about the supply side of the Egyptian labor market, very little is known about what the market really demands. Excess demand and excess labor supply coexist, leaving the economy with a chronic structural unemployment problem. The dashboard developed by the Egyptian Center for Economic Studies (ECES) is a user-friendly tool that provides timely detailed information on the requirements of jobs actually available and where they are located. Besides helping you scan the job market in search of adequate jobs, it contributes to narrowing the structural unemployment in Egypt.
