Tina Jaskolski

Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Department of Sociology

The American University in Cairo

Tina Jaskolski is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Department of Sociology at HUSS. She also works as Climate Security Analyst for UNDP's Regional Hub for Arab States in Amman and co-founded GEBAL, a company that is concerned with fostering environmental sustainability. Jaskolski worked for 15 years at AUC's Research Institute for a Sustainable Environment and has carried out numerous research and development projects in rural and urban areas across Egypt. She holds a PhD in Human Geography from the Australian National University, a Diploma in Geography and an MA in Southeast Asian Studies from Frankfurt University in Germany, and a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Geography from the University of Tasmania, Australia. She has carried out several international consultancies, including for GIZ and Princeton University.
