Climate Change in the Middle East: An Overview of Impacts and Responses

Michael Mason is the Director of the Middle East Centre and Associate Professor of Environmental Geography at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). He is interested in ecological politics and governance as applied to questions of transparency, security and sovereignty/territoriality. His research addresses global environmental politics and regional environmental change in Western Asia/the Middle East. His current research projects address water governance in Iraq and the geography of the occupied Golan Heights.
