The renowned and widely respected scholar AbdouMaliq Simone (Global South Urbanism) will deliver a talk on "The Afterlives of Climate Justice," drawing on African cities and Southeast Asian experiences. Second, Michele Lancione (Political Geography) will talk about "Inhabiting Dispossession in the Post-Socialist City, Race, Class and the Plan in Bucharest," unsettling the geography of Europe and the South-to-South taxonomies of inhabitation.
