A panel discussion as part of the University's week-long activities for World Mental Health Day

The discussion will focus on reducing stigma and the concept that mental health issues are untreatable, disastrous and always require medical intervention. The majority can be managed with psychosocial intervention.
Dr. Nasser Loza, President of the World Federation for Mental Health & Director of the Behman Hospital, and Kate Ellis, Assistant professor at the department of Psychology, will both be panel members and two graduate students who will share their experiences with managing their mental health.
