This Willard W. Brown International Business Leadership Seminar will feature Avramis Despotis, XM chief technical analyst, founder and CEO of Tradepedia, and the world-class guru in financial markets, behavioral finance, technical analysis and trading. Despotis is an enthusiastic educator, authoritative voice in price action trading and inspiring personal coach. He has been immersed in the financial markets for over two decades, is an expert instructor in technical analysis, risk management and behavioral finance and has mentored over 40,000 private and institutional traders. 

In the session, Despotis will discuss the know-how of the trading industry and the advice he shared with clients such as Reuters, HSBC, Barclays, Kuwait Financial Markets Association, National Commercial Bank, BNP Paribas and Société Générale. He will also tackle recent developments in financial markets and share trading secrets. 

The lecture is held on campus and will be moderated by Wael Abdallah, assistant professor of finance. Abdallah earned his PhD from the University of Salford, UK. His areas of teaching in both undergraduate and postgraduate levels and research are mainly corporate finance, investment analysis, international finance, bank financial strength rating, credit risk management in financial institutions and derivatives. In line with these, Abdallah delivers training modules and technical consultation services for senior corporate managers in many local and multinational firms and banks.
