Tahrir Cultural Center will come alive with workshops, screenings, talks, and competitions by bringing together the movers and shakers of Egypt's burgeoning animation industry. The intensive program includes screenings of feature films from Japan, France, Algeria and Italy, and more than 70 short films from Egypt, the MENA region and the world in the official competitions where awards will be given to the best animated independent, graduation, and commissioned films.

More than 15 professional multi-day workshops will take place on diverse topics such as storyboarding, directing, character design, 3D modeling & rigging, stop motion, puppet animation, voice acting and script treatment, along with a rich selection of talks and discussions from local professionals and international guest artists, and a market place serving as a meeting place between studios, producers and talents.
