"We live in a world with profound changes happening at an ever-faster pace.  It challenges our values and our systems.  Transformations develop slowly, disruptions occur faster, often causing a crisis situation with uncertainty and no clarity about the outcomes.  Education and research communities have an important role to play in such profoundly challenging times.  Knowledge production can seize opportunities that arise for the making of the next (a new) world order."
