Liliane Karnouk explores the stories of Icarus, Narcissus, Persephone, and Artemis, returning to her roots as a classically trained painter while finding major relevancies to the world we live in now.

Karnouk, a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome, was born in Cairo, lived in Europe, and maintains home bases in Canada and Mexico. In the 80s, she returned to Egypt to teach art at AUC, during which she authored seminal works on contemporary Egyptian art. Follow the link for more information.

The opening will be on Sunday, March 27 at 7 pm, and the exhibition will run daily from 10 am to 9 pm until Friday, April 15.
