Corporate citizenship, corporate responsibility, responsible business, corporate engagement; whatever you prefer to call it, the message is the same: Businesses succeed by being able to create impact, and this happens when they can fully engage with and be attuned to the needs of the communities they work in. How is this done?

That will be the webinar's focus featuring Lord John Browne, chairman of BeyondNetZero, a climate growth equity venture, and former CEO of international energy company BP. Lord Browne will be reflecting on the learnings from his experience in leading environmental action in the oil and gas industry, his role in BeyondNetZero, as well as his book 'Connect: How Companies Succeed by Engaging Radically With Society.'

AUC School of Business Dean Sherif Kamel will give the opening remarks of the webinar, which will be moderated by Dalia Wahba, chairperson of the award-winning CID Consulting. Wahba works across a range of strategic planning, partnership building, designing and implementing initiatives for social impact and transformation management projects serving government and private sector clients in various sectors.

This webinar is part of building awareness about responsible business under the participatory campaign 'This is how I moved my #BusinessForward,' calling on the business community to share examples and stories of applying responsible business practices in their operations. Participation in the campaign benefits others and allows the company to be recognized and awarded.
