Join us in celebrating international women's day with a film screening of the award-winning film It Takes a Village. Winner of the Best Short Documentary at the New York Film Festival, followed by a panel discussion and a reception.

About the film:
A short documentary film that tells the story of three Egyptian girls with something in common that changed their lives and will be the reason to inspire many others to choose and hold on to their choices. It shows the challenges, dreams, and hopes for all girls in Egypt. USAID funded the film production.

The event will be on a first-come, first-served basis, and live streaming will be available. All CommUnity Assembly events are subject to COVID-19 regulations at the time and maybe canceled if needed.
