Join award-winning food writer, American culinary historian, and certified BBQ judge Adrian Miller on February 17 at 4:00 p.m. at Falaki Theatre for a presentation on the contributions of African-Americans to American cuisine and the history of Soul Food. Miller is the author of Soul Food, which won the 2014 James Beard Foundation Book Award for Reference and Scholarship. The President's Kitchen Cabinet was nominated for a 2018 NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Literary Work - Nonfiction. This event is part of the U.S. Embassy's activities in February to mark Black History Month. 

The discussion will be conducted in English. Capacity is limited; attendance is on a first-come, first-served basis—free admission and open to the public.
