How is climate-vulnerable BOP enabled to understand their problem in the context of climate shocks, socio-political challenges and recurring crop failures? Once they know the integrated issues, they are encouraged to find the right solutions (in the context of scientific, operational, financially-viable and, most importantly, culturally acceptable) once the reaching to unreached takes place then how Mahatma Gandhi's principle of Antodaya (i.e., serving the last person in the queue in the best possible ways) can be inculcated by themselves towards a sustainable solution to the problem.

Biplab Ketan Paul is a globally acclaimed development professional with 30 years of multi-disciplinary experience cutting across irrigation, agri-innovation, smallholders technology inclusiveness and government policies. He is the innovator of BHUNGROO®, a unique drought and flood defeating technology. Through BHUNGROO and its unique Women Climate Leadership model, to date, more than 150.000 ultra-poor farming families across India, South East Asia, East Asia and Africa got emancipated from food insecurity and abject poverty.
His work is the recipient of more than 30 global laurels, namely UNFCCC's Climate Action, US State Department's IVLP-Gold Star, USAID's Securing Water For Food, Buckminster Fuller's Global Grand Prize, World Bank's IDM, # GVCAsia's Asian Agri-innovation, WGC(UN) 's Gender-Just-Climate-Solution, DST(GoI) 's Indian-Innovation-Growth-Program and Cartier Foundation's Women-Initiatives-Award, to name a few. He is a member of the jury and mentors of the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur's Incubation Center, a Centre for Excellence of the Indian Government. He is also one of the directors of the Gujarat state government's Ecology Commission.
