In parallel to the 'Van-Leo Legacy' exhibition, hosted by the Tahrir Cultural Center (TCC) in partnership with AUC's Rare Books and Special Collections Library, we present this talk as a continuation of the artist's 100th birthday celebration.

Boulos Isaac, an accomplished professional photographer, analyses the methods of manipulating light and contrasts in Van-Leo's studio to achieve his glamorous aesthetic portraits. The discussion will include a selection of the artwork displayed in the current Van-Leo CAIRO exhibition in contrast with the artwork of a few other contemporary photographers.

Capacity is limited; admission is on a first-come, first-served basis.
