In parallel to the 'Van-Leo Legacy' exhibition, hosted by the Tahrir Cultural Center (TCC) in partnership with AUC's Rare Books and Special Collections Library, we present this film screening as a continuation of the artist's 100th birthday celebration.

'The Many Faces of Van Leo' is a 45-minute documentary film produced, written and directed by AUC Alumni Fatma Bassiouni about the life and times of Egyptian Armenian photographer: Levon Boyadijian, known as Van Leo.

The film took two years to complete and premiered in January 2001 at the AUC in the presence of its star: Van Leo. It was screened again by the AUC in 2012 during an exhibit on Van Leo. The film was also screened by the Sultan Gallery in 2015 in Kuwait as part of a Van Leo exhibit there.

Capacity is limited; admission is on a first-come, first-served basis.
