The Theatre Program Presents Thornton Wilder’s The Skin Of Our Teeth

Directed by Adam Marple
Costume Design: Jeanne Arnold
Scenic Design: Curt Enderle
Sound Design: Nour Ibrahim
Light Design: John Hoey
Technical Director: Saad Samir

In celebration of the 125th anniversary of Pulitzer Prize winner Thornton Wilder’s birth, this comedic masterpiece spans the entirety of history, with one ordinary American family who lives through it all. The Antrobus family of Excelsior, New Jersey, perseveres through Ice Ages, floods, and devastating war. This play is about fortitude and the fate of humanity, both at the moment Wilder wrote it and this moment now and at millions of earlier moments over thousands of years. And in a thousand years, if people are still on earth, the play will be about them too. With a time-set across the ages, this theatrical allegory captures the human spirit - of brilliance, idiocy, and ultimately sweet survival.

Showing at Falaki Theatre, AUC Tahrir Cultural Center on November 22, 23, 24 From 7 pm to 9 pm (Open to the public)
