The School of Global Affairs and Public Policy will hold its second Alumni Online Event, continuing the GAPP Alumni Series Events in collaboration with the AUC Alumni Office. Throughout this series of events, we will have the chance to learn more about the GAPP Alumnus experience and knowledge. In this upcoming event, GAPP Alumni will be discussing "Global Village: Legal Challenges and Opportunities with a Focus on Egypt." The speakers will focus on the UN Charter and International law based on the post World War II paradigm.  After the end of the Cold War, it was an era of globalization and a networked society. How does that affect or provide opportunities for the current world order and its legal parameters? Equally, for a vigorous but medium-size country like Egypt, what opportunities and challenges do it presently: foreign policy and domestically.

The Founding Dean, Nabil Fahmy, will be hosting the event. Jason Becket, assistant Professor from the law department, will moderate and discuss our guest speaker Ramy Bassily.
