In this workshop, you will learn how to use Qualtrics Survey Platform, a prominent academic survey software. Specifically, you will learn how to create surveys using various questions, randomization, and organization options. You will also learn how to distribute your survey and monitor and download the collected survey data. No prior experience with Qualtrics or any survey software is required. This workshop is recommended for faculty and students who are new to Qualtrics or need a refresher and conduct academic survey research on a flexible platform. However, it is recommended that students have previously taken or are currently enrolled in the Research Methods in a Psychology course.

Lameese Eldesouky, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at AUC. She received her BA in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley, and her AM and Ph.D. in Social/Personality Psychology from Washington University in St. Louis. She then completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University. She teaches foundational psychology courses, such as research methods, social psychology, and personality psychology, and conducts research on emotion. She is also the Faculty Advisor for AUC’s Psi Chi chapter and Chair of the Psychology Department’s Student Affairs Committee.
