Arouma - Nesma Mahgoub

The Music Program is proud to present, Aroma by Nesma Mahgoub.

Arouma أرومة , which means 'origin,' is Mahgoub's first attempt to release an Indie album. The lyrics of the songs are a departure from the music industry's standard lyrics and themes. The topics are more social and psychological than the conventional commercial fare.

Mahgoub explains, "In a way, the words let you dive into the origin of an issue in your life and see how it started, why it started, or how it could have been different. The melodies and musical arrangements are new and unexpected for me. I like the path I chose for this album and I look forward to sharing the songs with you."
