Join Gerhart Center for a discussion with African philanthropist and social entrepreneur Tsitsi Masiyiwa and the APF-Bridgespan author team regarding the vital role and endless future potential of African philanthropy in supporting African NGOs. We will share findings from a recent report published by The African Philanthropy Forum and The Bridgespan Group titled "Disparities in Funding for African NGOs." The article demonstrates that only a modest share of large-gift philanthropy committed to the continent reaches African organizations and explores how philanthropists within and outside Africa can provide more support to proximate African NGOs.
