Details
Doubts exist about the priority that the new Biden administration will give to the Middle East and its lingering problems. The approaches that the administration will adopt towards these problems have also been the subject of much debate. From the Israeli-Palestinian, Syrian, Libyan and Yemeni conflicts to the Iranian nuclear program through the situation in Iraq, the dispute in the Eastern Mediterranean, and the positioning of the region in global geopolitics, issues are many. Based on their rich experience with successive U.S. administrations and with the American foreign policy establishment, the panelists will reflect on whether, when, and how the Biden administration will deal with these issues.
